Tour Itinerary

Day 01 : Leh Arrival (3505 meters / 11567 feet) 

Arrive Kushok Bakula airport Leh - 3500m above sea level. Transfer to hotel. Breakfast at the hotel . Half Day at rest for acclimatization. Evening drive to Leh Palace and  Visit Shanti Stupa ,  is a Buddhist white-domed Stupa on a hilltop in Changspa, It was built in 1991 by Japanese Buddhist Bhikshu, Gyomyo Nakamura and part of the Peace Pagoda mission.  Later in the evening walk around local market  to buy regional items like Pashmina shawls, stoles, Tibetan handicrafts like prayer wheels, Buddhist masks and overnight stay at the Hotel in Leh.

Day 02 : Sham Valley 

Days start with Hall of Fame, which was constructed by the Indian Army to commemorate the sacrifice of soldiers during Indo-Pak wars , Kali Mata Temple, followed by Spituk Gompa - an 11th century structure , Next on the list of attractions is the majestic Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. Nestled deep in the Himalayas, it was constructed by the Lamas of Leh in 1517 to honour the visit of Guru Nanak Dev - the founder of the Sikh faith. Drive another few km to witness the magic of Magnetic Hill that defies the law of gravity. It has been noticed that when a vehicle is parked on neutral gear on this metallic road, it seems to slide up and further. Driving through a picturesque landscape, we reach the confluence of the Indus and Zanskar River. Proceed back to Hotel vai same route. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel in Leh.

Day 03 : Leh – Nubra (125 Km /5-6 Hrs ) via  Tour of Khardungla Pass 18832 Ft. Nubra Valley, Hundur &  Sand Dunes  

After breakfast drive towards Nubra via Khardungla , which is the World’s highest motorable road at 18832 feet above sea level. At Khardungla pass the snow capped peaks and the mountain views are amazing. The road then passes through a bridge laid on Glacier which finds its way in Guinness Book of world records, Drive through the Valley which is extremely beautiful for photography. Nubra Valley is the Oasis of Ladakh as you see some colourful trees in this region. Reach your camp later  visit the Sand Dunes if lucky you will get the sight of the Two Hump Bacterian camels, enjoy time at the Sand Dunes of Nubra valley spread across Hundur Village . Over Night at the camp

Day 04: Nubra- Leh via  Khardungla Pass 18832 Ft stay Leh 

After Breakfast visit Deskit Monastery and drive back to Leh by same Route, crossing Khardungla Pass. Reach Leh by afternoon. Evening free time at Leisure to explore Leh market. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 05: Leh - Pangong Lake-  (It is the highest land locked lake (155 Kms on way from Leh 05 Hrs driver each way). 

After early Breakfast leave for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft), through Changla Pass 17,350 ft., it is the third highest motorable road in the world. Arrive Pangong Lake it is the highest salt water Lake in the World, shared by two countries India & China. Enjoy the beauty of the lake on the Banks of Pangong Lake while appreciating the changing Colors and fascinating high altitude of the Lake. Overnight stay at the camp

Day 06: Back to Leh (150 Km 5-6 Hrs)

After enjoying sunrise at the Lake, drive back to Leh via Changla passes 5486 Mtrs.  Reach Leh day free for Leisure. Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel in Leh

Day 07: Tour of Hemis, Thiksey Shey monastery 3 Idiots School Campus Sindhu Darshan:

After a leisurely breakfast, we drive to visit Hemis Monastery situated 45km west of Leh; Hemis is the largest and the wealthiest monastery in Ladakh. From Hemis, you are driven back taking the same route to visit Thiksey Monastery, located on a hill-lock with formidable views of the Indus valley. Thiksey is especially noteworthy for its gigantic seated statue of the Maitreya and is also known for its (Dukhang) assembly hall which houses hundreds of rectangular prayer books, stacked between wooden covers and bound in silk. After that we continue to drive through series of chortens to visit Shey Palace the former summer palace of the King of Ladakh. 3 Idiots School Campus Sindhu Darshan visit.  Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 08: Depart 

On time drop at Leh Airport and fly back to own destination with beautiful memories.
